ATACAMA VIAJERO REBORN

ATACAMA VIAJERO SITE PURGED;
PLANS FOR NEW BLOG TO INCLUDE
OCCASIONAL ESSAYS ON SOUTH AMERICAN TOPICS,
PLUS PHOTOS

Okay, so I purged the site. Actually, I deleted the blog and then re-started it after downloading the contents into my own archives for reference purposes. I do not even know if the old URL will connect to the new one, so I don't know if any of my old faithful visitors can even access this via their bookmarks. Maybe I will be sending out some notices if and when I put up something here.
But essentially, I wanted to dump the old but retain the name and keep a presence here at the blogger.com site. It will likely be useful for documenting future trips, which might take me off to new and different destinations, but at the moment those are only speculative at best. In the meantime, I might be posting some essays and occasional photographs from my journeys, and these might not necessarily be limited to South America, although I suspect most will be.
Anyway, you're invited to stop in from time to time to see what's up. By the way, the photo above is of the Glaciar Grande, which is located in the Parque Nacional Los Glaciares, in the Fitz Roy Massif down in Argentine Patagonia.
